I was born and raised on the sunny east coast of Kwazulu Natal in Durban, South Africa...
and these are the rules I live by...

Don't give up, you can achieve anything you put your mind to.
I had a successful career in corporate sales and key accounts. But, being creative on a personal journey of self-discovery, the truth is... I hungered for more.
After undergoing personal health transformation, and discovering the benefits of an organic lifestyle, I discovered my newfound passion...
Organic and sustainable living.
So... I started a blog to inspire a fit and healthy life for people and the planet! And... I began selling organic body products and make-up part-time.
As my passion increased to serve others, I transitioned in my corporate role.
I resigned from my hunter position as an Account Executive. And... transitioned
into the nurturing role of Key Accounts and Customer Success.
My new focus was to build relationships and support the customers' growth journey.
During this time... I connected with one of the world's best pioneers
of the Raw Food and Superfood Movements... David Wolf!
I attended a lecture and seminar where David shared his remarkable knowledge of nutrition for Radiant Health.
And, best of all I had the chance to chat with him in person when he autographed some books I purchased from him!
Two years later, I faced three major life crises... I got retrenched… divorced… and lost a sibling!
The experience awakened me to our fragility, the preciousness of life and the value of time.
I became aware of the need to live my life purposefully and meaningfully.
I enrolled to further my knowledge in health. And, I applied for the role of Sales Consultant.
I wanted to spread the word and grow this college. Using my writing skills I promoted it online. The response was phenomenal...impacting growth not just in my hometown, but nationally!
With my continued effort... I increased enrolments a further threefold!
I earned a promotion when a position opened up for a Director of Studies.
Three months later...
I was recognized for my health blog.
I was invited to sit on the judging panel of a National Body Sculpting Competition...
Body Beautiful South Africa!
But...one year later, The College of Natural Health transitioned to online study. I was out of work again!
It was then that I discovered COPYWRITING!
Shortly after, I received a surprise request... Danette May, America's leading
healthy lifestyle expert... invited me to guest write for her blog.
She had been inspired by my blog!
And two years later... I had the privilege of meeting Timothy David Noakes, a South African scientist, and an emeritus professor in the Division of Exercise Science and Sports Medicine at the University of Cape Town.
Tim is a renowned professor and the author of several books on exercise and diet.
He is one of the world's leading health and wellness experts! He hosted a talk on health, fitness, diet & his new book Lore Of Nutrition.
And I had the pleasure of speaking with him when he signed my book!
With my ever-increasing passion for wellness...
I decided to begin offering freelance copywriting services
to the health, wellness, organics and sustainability niche
on my favourite business networking platform.
And over 2 years, I built some amazing connections in the industry.
I wrote copy, ignited brands, built partnerships and increased their global footprint.
Life took an interesting turn when my partner's career relocated us to Denmark.
And so... we sold up, packed, and left behind our sunny and hot tropical Durban, on the Kwazulu Natal east coast.
Off we headed... to the northern hemisphere to Aalborg in North Jutland, Denmark!
We were in the middle of the pandemic and there was much uncertainty. People felt confused and were seeking guidance on what to do for their health, wellness and fitness.
With my passion for health, I decided to share an early treatment nutritional guide to empower people to support their health and immunity.
I had sourced it from an official group of global doctors and health professionals, and I had experienced the benefits of using it myself.
I was notified that this violated community rules since there was censorship around early treatment.
Sadly, I also noticed a steady breakdown of trust and division.
I began to speak out on the need to restore unity and raise ethics. And I used my people skills to build unity and community.
My turning point came in June 2022. I shared a post highlighting the value of bicycle commuting and an economy designed to support the well-being of the people and planet.
My voice gained traction. Interest, shares and comments flooded in!
In the blink of an eye…I WENT VIRAL!
Requests poured in for copywriting, profile overhauls, and podcast interviews. Connection requests poured in by the thousands... my following grew by an additional whopping 27 000+.
But then I was struck by an avalanche of bots! My inbox went MAD... and messages started disappearing.
Breaking point… my account was blocked! 30,000 connections and work requests were gone in an instant!
Infuriated... I wanted to raise the bar to challenge the status quo! I reinvented myself.
I designed my own website!
I was ready to transform my pain into purpose and potential… I was unstoppable!
I upped my game...I crafted potent positioning strategies and built a Story Empire.
I mastered high-converting sales pages and created engaging, memorable and
high-converting email campaigns.
I was on fire! After being silenced… I wanted to give people a voice!
My Quest? Empower brands that feel unseen and unheard!
My Desire? Bring good old-fashioned ethics back to the forefront!
My Mission? Inject passion, purpose and principles into copy to reignite the human connection!
